The Raimondi® Bulldog Bullnose Machine bullnoses and bevels and polishes your marble, granite, single and double-fired porcelain, and other stone materials.

 

The Raimondi® Bulldog Finishing Wheel is  the second of three steps of the bullnose polishing process.

 

Step 1 - Mill down the stone tile with the Raimondi® Diamond Mill

Step 3 - Polish the stone tile with the Raimondi® Polishing Wheels

 

An example would be that you want to give your porcelain tiles a rounded bevel. First, determine which bevel you desire; a 3/8" rounded bevel, 5/8" rounded bevel, or a 5/16" rounded bevel. Once you've determined your bevel size, let's say you chose to use a 5/8" rounded bevel, you'd start out by milling your porcelain tiles with the Raimondi® 5/8" Diamond Mill, then you'd move to the 5/8" Finishing Wheel, and then finally you'd move over to a 400 grit Polishing Wheel and you're done!

 

Note: For creating a 5/8" rounded bevel on your tiles, you'll need to use 5/8" rounded bevel wheels throughout the entire 3-step process.

 

On the other extreme, if you wanted to give darker-colored natural stone a 3/8" rounded bevel. You'd start with the 3/8" Diamond Mill, then use the 3/8" Finishing Wheel, then run the tile through the 400 grit Polishing Wheel, then the 800 grit, then the 1500 grit, then the 1800 grit, and then finish off with the 3500 grit Polishing Wheel.

 

That could mean plenty of wheel changes to your Raimondi® Bulldog Bullnose Machine and lots of wasted time. Fortunately the Raimondi® Bulldog features an accessory that allows you to string up multiple tables together so that you have 1 long table setup that will make quick work out of it.
